Hello To all :)

Today I will show you some tips how to improve or optimize a keyword for websites for search engines like google, yahoo, msn etc. You may comments or suggest your own ways in comments if you have any other strategy to improve keywords.

Let’s talk about improving keywords

Keywords are set of words, phrase or source of search for people to reach website of their need through search engine. This definition is search engine specific. Like if i am looking for a funny t shirt i will use buy funny t shirt on the search engine and in this case funny t shirt will be the keyword.

Search engine like google, msn, and yahoo etc extract keywords from website content by sending there web spider or crawler on different times.

So whenever people search such keywords search engine shows the websites in search result related to such keywords.

Well search engines shows websites starting from 1 to millions on some keywords that are common and many people use such keywords.

As a SEO its a dream to get on first page for some money making keywords like “internet marketing” google will show first ten most optimized website for this keywords Or yahoo and even msn show the most optimized website for this keyword on first page. First ten website are highly optimized for “internet marketing” keyword.

How they optimized and how search engines analyze them and ranked them on first page . Well the following four factors may play an important rolll in optimization of a specific keyword.

1. Back link with proper anchor text from other similar websites

2. Quantity of keywords on page or on whole website

3. Keyword presence in URL

4. Freshness of the content

Now let me explain all of above steps in details

1. Back Link With Proper Anchor Text From Same Websites

Search engine archive every single keyword they get from a website during their crawls and then check the couple of thing against them one of them is back link on each keyword. Let me show you an example and explain with the help of this example.

Let suppose construction website have a keyword construction in his index page and even frequently present in the whole website pages, Meta tags, body etc.

http://www.anyconstructionsite.com

Above website get a back link from another similar construction business website having different content but construction keyword is frequently present on that website so

|A| —> First Construction Website

|B| —> Second Construction Website

|A| Get link from |B|

|A| GET LINK FROM |B|

The link which posted on |B| is look like

Construction

And Link code <a href=”http://www.|A| website.com/”>Construction</a>

So in above code CONSTRUCTION is the anchor text and link inside point to website |A|

Now search engine (Google, yahoo or msn etc) visit |B| link page and saw a link to |A| with anchor text CONSTRUCTION

So google immidiately assing a POSSITIVE + to |A| on CONSTRUCTIO keyword and even expediate the crawler date if pr (page rank) of link page is good.

|A| GET LINK FROM |B|

It’s a one way link |B| will slightly get a negative – for one way link to another website. Now let’s involve |C| construction based website

|A| GET LINK FROM |B| and |B| from |C|

Here |B| get a one way link from |C| but at the same time giving a one way link to |A| so according to search engine calculation |A| = |B| but in this case |C| get a – So this circle is running in the same way as shown in figure below.

So it’s a chain of websites running above. But have you ever think like the picture shown below

In above example |A| getting link from |B||C||D||E||F| for keyword CONSTRUCTION and link is a one way link. So |A| will be the strongest website on search engine as compare to other in figure for keyword construction. Hmm it’s happen rarely most similar content website doesn’t like one way link they most of the time accept reciprocal link to make every thing balance

In above reciprocal figure both |A| and |B| get benefit and + from search engine plus improving the keyword of anchor text on links. So final conclusion is that proper anchor text with back link from similar business or services website help alot to improve specific keywords.

2. Quantity of keywords on page or on whole website

In 1 I show you a back link with proper anchor text example to improve a specific keyword in that example I use CONSTRUCTION as a keyword. Now let suppose that both |A| and |B| are equal
|A| = |B| both have same number of back links to index page. But for search engines which one is more perfect and which will appear on top when people search keyword CONSTRUCTION |A| or |B|?
Let me solve the puzzle in this case search engine will analyze the quantity of keywords present on the index page or in some cases on whole website. So if |A| have 20 keywords and |B| have 15 CONSTRUCTION keywords on page then |A| will be on top for CONSTRUCTION keyword as compared to |B|. But still |B| could be better or strongest because other things may apply For example |A| is not equal to |B| i mean if |A| have less back links then |B| with anchor text CONSTRUCTION although |A| have more keywords on index page for CONSTRUCTION but back links are more important then presence of keywords on a page. So according to me you have to make every thing balance build back links and put enough keywords on page to optimize them.

3. Keyword presence in URL

Most of search engines start counting keywords from URL, Meta tags, and then body. If you search keyword “love” on Google you will see most of website have keyword “love” in URL. So presence of keyword in URL can play an important role for optimization of such keywords. But it’s not mean you only put keyword in url and ignore other things like back links, quantity of keywords etc. That is why dynamic website is useless as compare to static website. Most web site owners having large dynamic websites hire SEO for URL rewriting to make URL SEO friendly. I will write a separate topic for dynamic and static website later plus i will include URL rewriting method and tips.

4. Freshness of the content

Every body like changes so does search engines. If you have some thing fresh and unique then it gives you a positive + response from search engines. All I mean is don’t be a copy cat write your own unquiet content for website. Search engine hate copy cat.
